As I read through the various news websites this morning, trying to decide which political news story is the most corrupt, nothing compares to the Penn State Child Abuse scandal. With all of my conscionable thinking, I cannot come up with a sane reason as to how and why this went on for any length of time, let alone as long as it did. Is the culture of college sports so horribly dysfunctional, that it would allow the sexual abuse of young boys to go on all in the name of "winning?" If this is not a "wake-up call," then nothing ever will be.
